BMO is a recurring client I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with, and this project was particularly special. In Quebec, we have the Bye Bye, a satirical year-in-review broadcast on New Year’s Eve that runs right up to the final countdown. It’s a major cultural moment—essentially Quebec’s Super Bowl for commercials.

This was my second year directing BMO’s Bye Bye spot, working with the amazing team at FCB Montréal. We shot in studio, using fake snow, a technocrane, and some fun wire work to create dynamic, eye-catching moments. The process was as creative as it was technical. Beautiful VFX work by Rodeo FX.
